As the Keeping Kidney Patients Safe web site adopts patient safety best practices submitted by members of the nephrology community, educational modules will be developed around each of the key patient safety events identified in the Health and Safety Survey to Improve Patient Safety in End Stage Renal Disease. These slideshows will offer nephrology professionals an engaging, interactive venue through which to explore the most effective practices for reducing the occurrence of adverse safety events.

Each module contains quizzes throughout to measure patient safety knowledge. By working through each of the five modules and reviewing sections where quiz scores were low, nephrology professionals will be able to periodically "tune up" their knowledge of methods to improve patient safety.
